DoorDash “Paint The Town Red” — Miami & Chicago
Giant branded builds. Fast-moving streets. Stormy skies. We mobilized a crew in just ten days and delivered cinematic coverage across Miami for DoorDash — hero video, social cut, and photos — through 16 rounds of edits.
Overview
DoorDash, via GUT (creative) and Street Factory Media (Fabrication & Execution), brought a bold vision to Miami: the larger‑than‑life “Roof Goof” and the oversized “Bagmobile” rolling through iconic neighborhoods to spark social buzz and turn heads IRL.
Blind Pig Productions was tapped to capture it all — agile, cinematic, and social‑ready — across four production days, delivering a hero video, a social cut, and a full photo set.

The Challenge
Make a splash in & Chicago with fast, cinematic coverage of moving branded builds — while adapting to live‑street realities like weather, traffic and crowd unpredictability. Oh, and do it with just ten days to mobilize the team, secure gear, and lock logistics.
Day one opened with heavy rain, and several locations were lighter on foot‑traffic than expected. Instead of waiting for perfect conditions, we embraced the constraints and leaned into creative blocking, lensing, and selective crowd framing to keep the energy high.
Our Approach
Crew & Footprint
2 video operators, 1 photographer, 1 director, and 3 PAs — a nimble unit designed for speed, safety, and minimal disruption while capturing both street‑level and aerial angles.
Coverage Plan
Multi‑neighborhood grid: Downtown, Brickell, Little Havana, Wynwood, Washington Ave, Collins Ave, Ocean Drive, and South Beach. Vehicle rigs (incl. GoPros) + handheld + drone to cover motion, scale, and street texture.
Deliverables
Main hero video, social cut, and a full photo library. Post included 16 rounds of refinements across agency and client to align creative while preserving momentum and story.
Guerrilla Execution
- Adaptability in the wild: pivoted around rain on Day 1; reframed scenes in low‑crowd pockets to retain scale and excitement.
- Real‑time wins: same‑day aerials delivered to client for momentum and approvals.
- Bonus storytelling: we cut an unrequested “Roof Goof” mini to showcase the footage’s potential — a value‑add that kept creative conversations moving.
